Age Connects Morgannwg (ACM) is going through one of the most exciting phases in its history. It has recently opened Cynon Linc, a newly refurbished Community Hub in Aberdare. Our trustees have a legal responsibility to ensure the charity’s resources are properly managed and are used only for the legal purposes of the charity.

The role is unpaid and comes with the benefit of investing your expertise into make a difference. In return we'll provide you with an in-depth induction, training and support to allow you to make a meaningful contribution to the future of older people across Rhondda Cynon Taf, Bridgend and Merthyr Tydfil.

We are keen to recruit trustees with one or more of the following:

  • a good Financial Management background to support our Finances and Resources committee
  • experience working in one of the following areas of Fundraising, Marketing, Campaigning, Health and Social Care.

We welcome trustees from diverse backgrounds who can bring their experience, perspective and skills to our organisation to encourage a creative, innovative board that reflects the diverse communities it serves.
