We are a charity that helps and supports older people, especially those who are vulnerable, isolated and in poverty. Our vision is to live and work in a society where older people are respected and enabled to meet their aspirations, and our mission is to make a difference to the quality of life of older people and promote a positive view of ageing. We operate across Rhondda Cynon Taf, Bridgend and Merthyr Tydfil. In these counties there are 178,000 people aged 50+, that’s 40% of the population.



We also have a voice at a national level as part of Age Connects Wales, and are members of Age Alliance Wales, an alliance of national organisations that seek to influence Welsh Government policies affecting older people.

We put older people at the heart of all we do to achieve the best personal outcomes for those that seek our support. We listen to older people and use what they tell us to be a champion for their rights, dignity and respect.
