Steve is a Fellow Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians. He joins us after working for the last 8 years as a Finance Manager for an Independent School in Cardiff. He was heavily involved in the production of the year end Charity accounts at the School so has plenty of experience of working with charity finances and funding.

Prior to that he worked for 21 years in Ystrad Mynach College (now Coleg Y Cymoedd) in various finance positions as well as undertaking some part time teaching on accounts and commercial courses. Previously he had worked for Mid Glamorgan County Council at County Hall.

Steve is Aberdare born and bred and looking forward to (maybe!) walking to work! Outside work he’s actively involved in a local football club as well as being a season ticket holder at Swansea City! He’s recently become a grandad for the first time so he’s looking forward to spending time with his new grandson!
