Third Sector Awards Cymru 2017
We were delighted to be a runner up in the Class Networks award for the Most Admired Organisation at
the Third Sector Awards Cymru 2017.
The Third Sector Awards Cymru honour the hard work and inspirational achievements of the third sector in Wales, and the prestigious most admired organisation award is for groups most respected for their work and the causes they represent.
We were nominated for this award by Rhondda 50+ Forum Secretary Lynda Corre and RCT Older Persons' Advisory Group Chair Angela Tritschler .
Lynda said 'Age Connects Morgannwg is an organisation that you can feel completely safe with - you know that they are looking after your interests at all times. Whatever problem you have they are there for you, they ensure that those who are most vulnerable and at risk are kept safe.’
'In this time of austerity, ACM stands out as a beacon of light and hope to many older people in these valleys,' Angela added.
The winner for this category was decided by public vote.
