Planning for Your Future
We offer help in planning for your future in a number of ways. We can talk to you about your retirement plans before you retire. We can help you explore all the options available to you and look at steps you might want to take to provide for yourself or your family.
We can help you to understand what options are available for you when you retire. We can help you with planning making changes to your finances. However, this is not just about looking at changes in your finances; retirement is a new phase of life and can be the opportunity for you do things you wouldn’t be able to whilst in work. Many people chose to volunteer in an area that interests them, we have a number of volunteering options at Age Connects Morgannwg, or we can help you to find other opportunities.
Making a Will
Age Connects Morgannwg has seen a marked increase in the number of enquiries relating to making a will. We are very aware that writing a will can be viewed as costly and complicated, frequently involving difficult decisions and forcing individuals to consider issues that can be upsetting. As a charity working with and for older people we recognise these issues but also wish to focus on the very positive benefits of making a will such as financial peace of mind in later life.
