Ideally, we are looking for someone with a good understanding of marketing methods, whether from experience or relevant qualifications. An understanding of the challenges older people experience would be an advantage, but not essential. What we’re looking for most is that you have excellent communication skills, are confident talking to a range of people and can produce high quality written content.
We will provide the ongoing training you need to enjoy and thrive in the role, including NVQ programmes and other work based learning opportunities. We offer a workplace pension and you could enjoy 25 annual leave days every year, increasing to 30 after 5 years’ service plus bank holidays! You even get your birthday off once you’ve completed your 6 month probation period!
Communications Officer - 37 hours per week, £21,900
Contract until the end of March 2020
This role works alongside the operational team on the organisation’s external communications. The role will lead on the development of the charity’s social media strategy and online profile.
