Volunteer Coordinator
18 hours per week (over 3 days)
Salary: £8,704 p.a.

Based at our head office in Pontypridd

As part of the Volunteering in Wales Fund (VIWF) an opportunity has arisen for a Volunteer Coordinator. The post will initially be for 1 year but may be extended and hours may be increased to full time

The focus of the project will be to provide intergenerational opportunities and develop effective links with older people within the community to maintain their independence.

The Coordinator will be required to recruit 75 volunteers within the first year and duties will also include providing training opportunities for the volunteers, working in partnership with other organisations, representing the organisation at key events and maintaining effective monitoring and working practices to meet the funding requirements.

Applicants should have experience of project development and possess excellent organisational, communication and presentation skills. Applicants must also demonstrate a strong commitment to the needs of older people.
