Blue Badge Scheme
Provides concessions for parking for people with disabilities.  The eligibility criteria include people on DLA high rate mobility, people receiving a war pensioner’s mobility supplement, people who are registered blind and people who have very considerable difficulty in walking. Contact Social Services departments to apply.

Bus and train times available from Travel Line Cymru.


Bus Passes
Passes are free for men and women over 60. They guarantee free local bus travel anywhere in Wales.  To apply you need 1 passport photo, proof of age and proof that you are resident in the relevant county borough.  Application forms available from Bridgend County Borough Council, Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council and Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council. Applications also available from some Post Offices and libraries.
